Broadridge Financial Solutions Program Manager (Hybrid) in Newark, New Jersey

Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking an IT Program Manager to join our team! This highly strategic and collaborative role will operate independently to leverage their expertise in Waterfall and Agile delivery methods to successfully deliver a program consortium of highly visible, complex projects, supporting software implementation efforts for the Investor Communications (ICS) IT Product Development Organization. We are looking for someone to partner with various stakeholders across the business and IT organizations to help define the overall program scope and then drive the strategy of multiple connected IT projects within a given program and across a related product or business line. We need an individual who can create a plan or framework that ensures all related cross-program dependencies, risks, issues, requirements, and solutions, align with the individual IT roadmap as well as business leader and stakeholder requirements, to achieve successful deliverables and keep the overall program healthy. This individual must also exhibit strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities to proactively remediate issues and guide teams to success.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide IT leadership team with overall direction and monitoring of each Program within a related area (product or business) of responsibility, including the assessment of risk to timeline, budget, client satisfaction, as well as managing impact of changes to project scope

  • Track and report status through consistent, standardized dashboards and metric reporting in support of Broadridge and department specific strategic goals and objectives

  • Identify project bottlenecks, risks, threats, and opportunities, provide analyses and suggest recommendations on the progress of the overall Program, senior leadership, and key stakeholders.

  • Collaborate closely with the leadership of multiple departments including Engineering, Product, Shared Functions, and Senior Management to ensure project scope and alignment with goals and processes

  • Monitor several project budgets, producing program reports for department leaders, end users, and other stakeholders

  • Plan future program activity, including consultations with project sponsors, analysis of requirements and arranging timeframes

  • Assure oversight across projects and programs; act as a primary escalation point for issues and conflict resolution.

  • Ensure adherence and compliance to SDLC while driving the strategic vision of 'Best Practices'; lead and implement necessary process improvements

  • Ability to translate multiple agile squad tracks into a centralized, meaningful, milestone driven program plan

  • Ability to guide, coach, and align agile mechanics needed to measure and deliver program success to resources across various stages of agile maturity

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Required; MS/MBA Preferred

  • PMP/CSM/PMI-ACP certifications preferred

  • 10+ years of proven Technology Project Management experience

  • 10 + years leading complex multiple technology programs/projects utilizing Agile/SCRUM methodologies

  • 10+ years of experience contributing to a software delivery lifecycle

  • Expertise in following a SDLC process and a continuous improvement advocate during a Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) as well as project methodologies, including: waterfall and Agile tools (Jira/Confluence/Aha!) and frameworks (Scrum, XP, SAFe, etc.)

  • Experience partnering with distributed teams located in multiple time-zones and in complex environments with an onsite and offshore model

  • Experience in budget management, analysis, measurement, and governance

  • Experience in mentoring other team members on Agile/SCRUM standard methodologies and project management processes

    Salary range $140,000 - 155,000. Bonus Eligible.
