Broadridge Financial Solutions Pricing Analyst in Newark, New Jersey

As a Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for effectively pricing and managing deals, analyzing market data, assessing pricing strategies, and implementing pricing models to maximize profitability and competitiveness for the company's products and services. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments including Business, Sales, Product Management, Legal, and Finance to develop and execute pricing strategies that align with business objectives. The Pricing Analyst will also monitor industry trends, conduct competitive analysis, manage deals, and recommend pricing adjustments to optimize revenue and market share.
We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means youll be assigned to one of our Tri-State area offices and given the flexibility to work remotely.
Responsibilities
Price and manage deals to optimize price and improve win-rate.
Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify pricing opportunities and threats.
Develop and maintain pricing models and methodologies to support strategic pricing decisions.
Deliver on pricing Annual Operating plan through surfacing insights to improve margins and revenue.
Conduct thorough pricing analysis to determine optimal pricing levels for new and existing products or services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product features, customer value propositions, and cost structures to inform pricing strategies.
Monitor pricing performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate effectiveness of pricing strategies and initiatives.
Perform sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to assess potential impact of pricing changes on revenue and profitability.
Provide insights and recommendations on pricing adjustments based on data-driven analysis and market dynamics.
Support pricing negotiations with customers to ensure favorable terms and agreements.
Develop and maintain pricing policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive developments related to pricing practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Ddministration, Economics, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, or related field. Previous experience in pricing strategy development is a plus.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in quantitative analysis and data interpretation.
Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools. Experience with pricing software or analytics platforms is desirable.
Excellent communication, storytelling and PowerPoint, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex pricing concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Familiarity with pricing theories, methodologies, and best practices.
Strong project management skills.
Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards related to pricing.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing business environment.
Compensation Range:The salary range for this position is between $70,000 - $77,000.Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
