Broadridge Financial Solutions Marketing Database Specialist in New York, New York

Position Description:

The Marketing Database Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining Broadridge's marketing automation database, contact list management, data analysis and campaign segmentation for our global marketing initiatives. In this role, you will directly support the Director, Digital Marketing Operations, work closely with the digital marketing team, agency partner and business/segment marketers to build targeted segments, evaluate audience-sizing criteria, and append contacts regularly to ensure that we are using quality data.

Additional responsibilities include:

Campaign Segmentation:

  • Manage intake of the segmentation criteria briefs for each email marketing campaign

  • Build targeted segments in the marketing automation tool (Eloqua) for all campaigns

  • Train new users in the segmentation criteria briefing process

Database Maintenance:

  • Perform routine database cleanup functions

  • Support list building, enhancing and appending efforts

  • Collaborate with sales operations on ensuring alignment around data quality management between Eloqua and CRM (Salesforce)

Contact List Management:

  • Manage list upload process and maintain an ongoing audit trail of all lists and how they pertain to marketing campaigns

  • Manage events list uploads and direct prospective leads to the Lead Gen Team for follow up

  • Manage creation and ongoing updates for all internal seed lists

  • Support list building for Outbound lead gen initiatives in collaboration with the Lead Gen Team

Data analysis - special/ad hoc projects:

  • Support all marketing automation efforts by providing data analyses, reporting, testing, validation and documentation

  • Work with marketing stakeholders on building and assessing prospective distribution lists based on targeted firmographic and demographic attributes

  • Create various presentations pertaining to database growth, health, automation advancements

Skills and requirements:

  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience

  • Bachelor's Degree (Marketing, Communications, Digital or other relevant discipline)

  • Experience with Eloqua or marketing automation platforms

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or CRM software

  • Experience with Workfront or workflow management tools is a plus

  • Marketing or financial services experience

  • Attention to detail but can see bigger picture
