Broadridge Financial Solutions Director Strategy & Business Development (Hybrid) in New York, New York

The Director of Strategy & Business Development will directly support the Broadridge Investor Communication Solutions (ICS) Head of Strategy for our Mutual Funds, Issuer, Retirement, and Data & Analytics businesses. The team member will work directly with senior executives and have an opportunity to lead and support a broad variety of strategic and operational initiatives, such identification and evaluation of new business opportunities, revenue optimization and sales growth, and M&A sourcing and due diligence.

Broadridge Investor Communication Solutions (ICS) offers a wide variety of financial technology services to clients, including data & analytics, shareholder communications, regulatory and compliance support, and proxy services.

We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means youll be assigned to a Broadridge officeandgiven the flexibility to work from home.

Requirements:

  • Participate in creating, leading and implementing growth initiatives, with primary focus on revenue generation and profitability, in collaboration with ICS business leaders.

  • Monitor and evaluate performance and optimal execution of business development initiatives.

  • Research, identify and present market, regulatory and industry trends that impact ICS growth plans and highlight strategic insights and solutions.

  • Establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders across business units and corporate functions to support alignment of ICS strategies.

  • Organize, create and present ideas in an effective, concise way to all levels of management, including business unit leaders.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of strategy-focused work experience in an intense work environment within a blue-chip consulting firm, investment bank, or in strategy / corporate development roles in the financial services or technology sector

  • Excellent academic background, including undergraduate degree from a top-ranked university. Graduate degree, such as MBA, is a plus but not required.

  • Direct experience in the financial services or fintech sector, specifically with asset management firms or broker dealers, is a plus

  • Experience working in the context of a large, complex, global organization where working across boundaries, developing strong organizational relationships, and leading through influence are keys to success

  • Experience in a fast-paced setting; enthusiastic about the potential strategic opportunities and challenges facing Broadridge, and ability to be a self-starter and drive initiatives hands-on while rallying the necessary support and resources

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and advanced proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint is a must.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: 150,000 - 170,000 depending on experience. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidates qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Annual Bonus: 15% - 20%
