Supervisor, Production Tech Support (Thursday-Saturday and every other Wednesday, 6:00pm-6:00am)

Broadridge is growing, and we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our operations team! We are looking for a Supervisor Production Tech Support for our Kansas City, MO facility located at 2600 Southwest Blvd. This role is in our Customer Communications Division. At BRCC, we transform how organizations communicate with their customer by building an optimal, integrated digital and print experience. By seamlessly connecting customers with relevant content across the existing and emerging channels they prefer, their transactional, marketing and regulatory communications can drive greater efficiency, engagement and results. In this role, you will provide direction and mechanical support to all production mechanics as required. You will monitor all work in progress ensuring that a constant production workflow is maintained and equipment repairs are completed in a timely fashion. You will motivate, develop, support, encourage and instruct all Technicians. You will support Operations to ensure all work is completed on time.


  • Maintain our parts inventory for all equipment by providing a complete list of parts to be ordered, including the vendor to be used and the associated cost for each part.

  • Monitor records of preventive maintenance performed on equipment and ensure that the maintenance occurs according to scheduled deadlines.

  • Stay informed of all new technology and equipment used by the technical support and production operations departments.

  • Fill in and assume all management responsibilities in the department manager’s absence.

  • Accountable to meet or exceed Cost per Unit targets on your shift (i.e. labor costs, overtime, inventory control etc.)

  • Monitor and improve machine throughput.

  • Verify that all administrative work is filled out properly, monitoring and following departmental procedures.

  • Reward, recognize and discipline associates.

  • Maintain all records pertaining to department personnel under individuals report.

  • Provide daily communication updates to senior management on strategic work scheduling issues.

  • Monitor daily reports on throughput and equipment downtime giving feedback to department personnel.

  • May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned

Hours/Shift: Thursday-Saturday and every other Wednesday, 6:00pm-6:00am


  • Associate’s Degree or Technical/Trade School

  • 5+ years’ equivalent experience preferred with a proven proficiency in the operation and repair of production equipment, insertion and bindery equipment, electronic and electric circuit experience.

  • 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role within a high volume production environment

  • Electrical and electronics repair a plus.

  • Understanding and experience of reporting tools Jet/IQ is preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
