Test and review new/changed areas in the system as submitted by development personnel, ensuring that they meet the requirements specified in the enhancement specification for the change.
Insure that all new/changed programs and modules follow published standards.
Test and review new/changed areas of the system to ensure that existing functionality is preserved.
Assign quality assurance submissions to the proper technical resource for review. Track the technical review process and report all problems found during the technical review.
Track all submissions to quality assurance and report their current status to management. Track all errors encountered in the Quality Assurance process as to severity by developer.
Document and implement detailed test plans and test scripts. Managing and growing business regression test cases.
Develops detailed test plans from functional specs and technical design documents.
Works closely with business analysts and developers to follow an enhancement from the initial stages through code delivery to QA.
Monitors and tracks defects associated with project
Provides status reports to management on an on-going basis.
Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction
B.A. / B.S. Degree in BA, Finance, Information Systems or related
Quality Assurance methodologies, and impactTM experience preferred
Experience with QA test practices, constructing test cases and plans.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Experience performing API testing: Using tools such as: Postman, SoapUI, and Fiddler.
Expertise with Defect lifecycle tracking tools such as: Quality Center, JIRA, Agile Central.
Functional Knowledge: Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadens capabilities
Business Expertise: Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work
