Broadridge is growing! We are actively seeking a Sr. Material Handler for our El Dorado Hills location.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing the physical and/or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, part, and supplies. You will unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, and ensure materials are logged into the inventory system, delivered to inventory, packaged according to specification, and shipped.

You will identify and troubleshoot problems that occur within the shipping and receiving environment and suggest ways to improve the process. You will report discrepancies to management and resolve them when able.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Staging work in staging area and return carts to Print Room.

  • Distributing commodities and work to or from machines.

  • You will help in managing overall floor inventory and ensuring cleanliness of Commodities area.

  • Monitoring work in progress and on-deck at machines to balance work load from Print based on must-mail requirements.

  • You will perform thorough quality control checks prior to delivering the material and commodities to the machines in order to ensure 100% accuracy.

  • Maintain professional appearance and adhere to the dress code.

  • Ability to operate a PC and be literate in using application software such as Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word.

We are seeking the following qualifications for this role:

  • 1 year related experience required.

  • Preferred qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent and 1 to 2 years previous warehouse, inventory management, materials handling, transportation, and/or purchasing experience; forklift certification required for some positions.

  • Knowledge of a warehouse environment.

  • The ability to transport material from one place to another and to carry up to 50 pounds is required.

  • Ability to work flexible hours/schedule and overtime as needed, especially during month/quarter ends.
