Broadridge Financial Solutions Production Equipment Inventory Analyst (LW Night Shift) in El Dorado Hills, California

Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking an Inventory Analyst to join our team! We are looking for someone to support the inventory management, analysis, budgeting and cost monitoring/reporting associated with the Production Self-Service teams multi-million dollar parts/equipment inventory. This includes ensuring that appropriate inventory levels are maintained, and balancing inventory levels through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification and system reviews.

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduled Shift: Late Week Night Shift ( Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Alt Saturday) from 6PM to 6AM

  • Monitor Production Self-Service parts inventory levels and place orders with various vendors as needed to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained to support our Edgewood facilities.

  • Update department inventory databases (i.e. RemStar, FIIX, Oracle) to account for new receipts, cycle count adjustments, and other transactions that impact inventory levels. Investigate discrepancies to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to minimize variances.

  • Analyze and make recommendations on accurate material levels (including minimum, maximum, and target inventory levels as well as reorder points) based on demand/usage, unit costs, lead times, and other critical factors.

  • Build strong working relations with Production Operations, Machine Shop, Engineering, and Finance/Procurement associates as well as vendors.

  • Assist warehouse team in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts to validate inventory levels and ensure accurate control is maintained over inventory. Research, report and resolve all discrepancies.

  • Prepare various reports (e.g., inventory usage, turnover, valuation, expense reporting, cycle count variance trends, etc.) and ensure that they are completed accurately and on a timely basis.

  • Process and track the status of vendor invoices to ensure accurate billing and timely payment.

  • Assist with vendor management, create purchase requisitions, receive inventory into our databases, ensure inventory accuracy, and follow up to ensure that all invoices are paid accurately and on a timely basis. Track the status of outstanding parts orders by communicating proactively with vendors and providing updates on critical items to Production Self-Service and Production management.

  • Move, load/unload, dump, restock, relocate and/or consolidate materials as required to maintain effective and organized inventory management/usage systems/processes.

Qualifications:

  • Two years of analytical experience, preferably in a manufacturing, production operations, or transaction processing environment. Experience with inventory ordering/management is preferred.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and management at multiple levels.

  • Solid organizational skills. Must be able to effectively multi-task and prioritize simultaneously.

  • Strong PC skills including advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, file linking, charts/graphs, etc.), Microsoft Word and Outlook.

  • Strong analytical skills, including demonstrated ability to summarize and present data and recognize patterns/trends.

  • Must be able to effectively consolidate and report critical information to management.

Other Requirements:

  • Desire and ability to learn, including the ability to become proficient using various software applications, such as warehouse/inventory management applications (i.e. Oracle, FIIX, etc.).

  • Ability to bend, stoop, stand, and lift boxes weighing up to 35 lbs.

  • Flexibility to work overtime (nights, weekends, holidays) as required.

  • Ability to push pull or move heavy objects

    Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Rate: $45,000 $54,000 per year depending on experience

  • Bonus Eligibility:

  • Annual Bonus: You will be eligibletoreceive a management by objectives bonus
