The Supervisor Credit & Collections is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day responsibilities of the collections team. Area of responsibilities include team monitoring and mentoring, driving operational improvements, including working with business partners, key collaborators and other departments, implementing strategies to improve cash collections/ mitigate risks and achieve the best outcomes to meet or surpass the organizations metrics.

Work Modes- Hybrid (Flexible Work Options): We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means youll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead staff of 5 including but not limited to hiring, training, corrective action, performance appraisals, review and approval of timesheets, etc.

  • Manage strategies to hit monthly and quarterly portfolio targets

  • Identify opportunities for increased efficiency, improved accuracy, and increase collections

  • Manage and maintain client relationships, ensure timely follow-up on all inquiries, negotiate with past due accounts

  • Support Management by providing timely and accurate payment and account standing information.

  • Coordinate with internal departments, such as billing, sales, client services and legal, to drive timely resolution and reduce risks

  • Work on projects as needed, primary focuses to drive efficiency, accuracy and improved AR metrics such as DSO, Cash and Aged AR

  • Manage month-end close tasks and metrics and ensure deliverables are completed in a timely and accurate manner

  • Responsible for documentation of all processes, procedures and provide necessary training of associates

  • Provide back-up coverage for Director as needed

  • Perform various other tasks as advised by management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

  • 35 years experience in B2B Collections

  • Expertise in integrated Oracle EBS preferred; Oracle Advanced Collections experience a plus

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel

  • The ability to work accurately and independently

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent analytical skills and an eye for detail

  • Outstanding leadership and managerial skills

  • Strong time and people management skills

  • Ability to work to strict deadlines.
