Are you passionate about technology and are looking to be a part of a growing and dynamic Fin Tech team? Broadridge is hiring! We currently have an opening for a Senior Software Engineer. We are looking for someone to join a core team with expertise in application development, DevOps and more. You will ensure the successful execution of our business mission through development and deployment of new and exciting features. The development of this product is critical to our communications platform within Broadridge. We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means youll be assigned to a Broadridge officeandexpected to be the office 2x a week.

Responsibilities:

  • You'll coordinate with the Director/VP of Software Engineering and other senior engineers to establish consistent software design guidelines and standard methodologies for the software development team

  • You will work with the business/product teams to come up with technology solutions to business problems

  • Youll work within all phases of software development life cycle (SDLC)

  • Youll develop, test, debug and implement code for existing and/or new applications and/or systems, including detailing software design and code

  • Youll demonstrates creative problem skills, dedication to excellence, and has an ambitious spirit

  • You will work with users and QA to perform Quality Assurance testing of applications and resolve all reported defects/issues

  • Stay informed of/follow all relevant Broadridge policies to ensure the security and privacy of data

    Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience within a programming and applications system environment such as: Java/JEE/Spring, Javascript, Angular (or similar JS framework), HTML, JBOSS, SQL, Unix shell scripting, RESTful APIs, GIT, Perforce, Agile development, JIRA

  • Having hands on experience in any relational database, such as SQL Server, Oracle

  • API Integration experience, such as using HTTP request/response, authentication concepts, and API tools

  • Proficient with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries

  • Work effectively on multiple projects at once

  • Superb communication skills and a desire to collaborate openly within a fast paced team

  • Exposure to DevOps/CI/CD via Jenkins

  • Exposure to Git and JIRA preferred

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent discipline

Compensation Range:The salary range for this position is between $110,000-$130,000. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
