Broadridge is growing. We are actively recruiting for an Occupational Health Nurse to join our in-house Medical team based out of our Deer Park, NY location. In this role, you will provide triage, acute care, preventive care and health promotions to our associates. You will be responsible for owning the day to day operations in the medical office and share in the team's common goal of disease prevention, health maintenance and safety in the workplace for all Broadridge associates. General Responsibilities:

  • You'll provide clinical care and counseling with an emphasis on risk factor modification, health assessment and disease prevention. Our clinical services are provided with high focus on protection of our associates' right to privacy and protection of confidential information.

  • You will evaluate and treat illnesses and injuries. You will deliver clinical support for the MD and PA. You will appropriate medical referrals when necessary. You'll perform medical testing such as EKGs, phlebotomy, pulmonary function testing, audiometry, and body fat analysis. You'll maintain the laboratory and perform CLIA-waived testing. Provide ergonomic evaluations.

  • You'll organize and promote various medical programs such as flu vaccinations, health screenings and lunch and learns. You will actively participate in Safety Meetings and quarterly Wellness Committee meetings.

  • You will promote all Broadridge medical resources as appropriate, including referrals to the disease and lifestyle management programs and EAP referrals.

  • You'll utilize the electronic medical record for accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters.

  • You will own the daily work flow and lead the front desk. You'll implement dynamic policies and procedures to improve efficiency and order medical supplies and reconcile invoices in a timely manner.


  • Current valid registered nurse license to practice in New York.

  • CPR/AED certification or working towards certification. Ongoing participation in Continuing Medical Education.


  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience is required. Occupational Health RN experience is desired but not required.

  • Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Basic computer skills.
