Broadridge Financial Solutions Director, Product Management in California

Broadridge is growing. We are seeking a Director, Product Management to join our team in 1 Park Avenue. You will need a deep understanding of the hedge fund and traditional asset management market, to execute on the vision/strategy for each of the current/future regulatory and compliance products and services within the product portfolio. You will also assist with Pre-Sales and Sales efforts in relation to the product you will be responsible for. The Broadridge suite of products currently provides hedge funds, asset managers, banks, brokerages and hedge fund administrators with a combination of front, middle and back office applications designed to provide a deep functional capabilities on a fully managed and hosted environment.


  • Developing new compliance and regulatory products, services, or offerings.

  • Identifying and understand the market for the products.

  • Define feature and functional improvements within your products. Write business specifications, liaise with existing Product Managers and direct Development to ensure prioritized work is delivered to your defined specifications.

  • Act in a Pre-Sales capacity where required by coordinating Sales meetings and preparing and conducting product demonstrations while acting as the Compliance/Regulatry SME as needed.

  • Aid with the development of the Product Pricing matrix based on known and quantifiable costs, target margin and competitive environment

  • Internal SME and contact point for other Broadridge business units

Specific Duties:

  • Fulfill Product Management responsibilities in the definition of new features and product direction.

  • Write necessary business requirements and plans.

  • You will provide mentorship and direction to the Development team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of the solutions needed to maintain achievement of strategic goals.

  • Work with Senior Management and other required BR staff to coordinate product demonstrations and sales meetings.

  • You will work with the Senior Management team to provide updates on our Strategy and discuss/plan investments required into the product to achieve agreed goals.

  • Liaise with larger BR Sales organization to assist with education, training and implementation of the Sales Strategy.

  • Understand and ensure clarity of competitive landscape for similarly positioned products.

Qualifications: 6-10 years Financial Market experience with an Asset Management focus (B.A/B.S Degree required) Extensive financial services experience with Asset Managers, Broker Dealers & Banks Strong business Product Management, Strategy, Pricing and Planning skills Knowledge of virtually all Asset Classes in Global Markets Solid understanding of the asset management ecosystem. Ability to Manage and Motivate assigned staff and virtual teams in a matrix organization to achieve the strategic goals. Ability to initiate, develop and maintain relationships. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Capable of working in a dynamic, high pressure environment. Willingness and ability to travel (25%).
